Our packaging is optimised.
First class quality guaranteed.

Successful marketing of packaging materials requires maximum quality and safety. The transfer of chemical components in the packaging material to foods or into bulk materials is undesirable. We are interested in the sustainable success of your products. This is why we guarantee the maximum quality and safety of our raw materials.

We use odourless and low-migration printing inks. These are continuously brought up to the latest standard in close co-operation with the printing ink manufacturers. We also prepare analyses for our customers according to the current IFS standard (International Food Standard). The samples undergo chemical, microbiological, physical and sensory examinations. We recommend the analyses be performed at the beginning of the project, prior to the development of the packaging.

Our in-house quality and test laboratory provides economical, fast and sound evaluations of your packaging and product samples.

Climate-neutral packaging.
Our footprint is green.

As the manufacturer of cardboard packaging, we are involved in the ongoing process of improving our climate protection services. Here, we deal with the issue of raw materials and materials as well as with the applicable manufacturing and finishing services.

We use Climate-Partner for CO2-neutral printing. What this means to you: Use of climate protection and highest level, reliable emissions offsetting.

Robinson Test
Improved taste neutrality.

The Robinson test according to DIN EN 1230-2 is used to test sensitive foodstuffs for their smell and taste neutrality. This test is performed regularly in our laboratory.

The printed packaging material is sealed airtight in glasses with the food specimen being tested. An in-house, assembled test group conducts the taste test after a precisely specified time.

Abrasion Test
Guaranteed to be indelible.

The abrasion test is performed to determine the smear and abrasion resistance of a flat shape, for example, of printed paper or cardboard. It enables us to precisely determine whether the used lacquer or ink is “indelible” or if it rubs off as a result of further processing.

Abrasion tests are also used in the event of complaints concerning scratches or smearing. It allows us to ascertain whether inferior raw materials were used. On occasion, orders involving UV inks and UV lacquers are also tested to see whether the ink was UV-dried adequately.

Microbiological Rapid Tests
Germ-free zone.

In the context of our own BIO monitoring, we perform various microbiological rapid tests. “Wipe tests cards” are used to examine various materials and items for bacteria. We use these on a weekly basis to examine three to five different food packagings directly after they leave production. The machinery, keyboards, work clothes, lift trucks, door handles etc. are also included in the BIO monitoring.
